This program is in exchange for college credit. We are currently seeking to work with students that are able to work 4.5 days a week, part-time, with hours as follows:

*Monday-Friday: 8:30AM to 3PM PST

15-25 hours a week

(10-week term)

The Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Jr Social Media Marketing Intern to join our team. As a Jr Social Media Marketing Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in the fast-paced field of digital marketing and social media management. You will assist in executing social media strategies, creating engaging content, analyzing campaign performance, and supporting various marketing initiatives.

This is an exciting opportunity that seeks an individual who is passionate about community building on-line.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Social Media Management:

  • Assist in managing and growing our social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn) to increase brand awareness and engagement.

  • Collaborate with team members to develop and implement social media campaigns and content calendars. Build and maintain a calendar of content, events, and activities designed to keep SBJ fans engaged with .

+ Content Creation:

  • Help create compelling and visually appealing content for social media platforms, including text, images, videos, and infographics.

  • Assist in brainstorming and generating creative ideas for social media campaigns, contests, and promotions.

  • Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a consistent brand voice across different platforms.

+ Cross-functional Support:

  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, design, and customer support, to ensure social media efforts align with overall marketing strategies.

  • Provide assistance with other marketing initiatives, including email marketing, influencer partnerships, and event planning, as needed.

Qualifications:

+ Enrolled in a school granting hours for internship

+ Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

+ Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

+ Basic understanding of social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn) and their respective best practices.

+ Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) is a plus.

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.

+ Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging content ideas.

+ Basic knowledge of social media analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Facebook Insights, Google Analytics) is a plus.
